my phone is stuck on headphone setting, i think, cant hear music unless headphones plugged in, also cant hear people on phone when talking unless i plug in headphones or put on speaker. any help appreciated

If resetting your iPhone doesn't clear it up, then I'd guess that your headphone jack has a hardware failure and can't recognize that the headphones have been removed. If that's the case, you're going to have to get it fixed. |

Try plugging in headphones and back out, repeat lots of times, it might just have stuck. |
